MicromATR™
The MicromATR™ is a new product designed to provide the highest available performance in an Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy accessory. MicromATR™ is a very flexible platform with many sample interface crystal options, FT-IR spectrometer interfaces, and pressure applicators. The small diameter of the ATR crystal allows the analysis of a broad range of samples, from macro to micro.
ATR sampling with the MicromATR™ is fast and easy. Elegantly smooth operation of the torque knob delivers high and even pressure onto the sample ensuring high quality ATR spectra from even the most difficult samples. The hardness and chemical resistivity of the diamond internal reflection element enables the analysis of hard samples, abrasives, and corrosives. The MicromATR™ mounts into the sample compartment of most FT-IR instruments – no alignment is necessary.

MicromATR™ Features and Options
Diamond XR - single crystal diamond prism that provides the largest spectral range (mid-IR through far-IR)
Diamond HT - single crystal diamond prism coated to provide higher optical efficiency in the mid-IR
Germanium single reflection (non-viewing)
Zinc Selenide - single crystal zinc selenide prism coated to provide high optical efficiency at an economical cost
Diamond or silicon 3 reflection liquids and solids (non-viewing)

Prisms are mounted in a 316 Stainless Steel disk.
ATR Crystal Disks are mechanically mounted and magnetically fixed.

Additional hastelloy disk with a diamond/zinc selenide crystal available upon request.
The heated ATR disk's temperature controller, from Czitek, is a temperature controller designed to work with both the MicromATR and MicromATR Vision. The controller allows the user to set the disk temperatures up to 130°C in 0.1°C increments.

Pressure Applicator and Tips
Torque Knob delivers optimum pressure for good contact and high quality spectra.
Magnetically fixed tips are easily removable for cleaning and allow for better handling of a range of sample morphologies.
Purge
Compact Accessory with efficient optical design provides an extremely small purge volume and path.
Quick disconnect purge adapter allows dedicated purge to the accessory.
Purge tubes compatible with your FT-IR spectrometer permits purge isolation.
